Five Ways to Make Your Home Cozy
With the temperatures dropping and the holidays right around the corner, being at home has more appeal than ever. Your home should be a place that you truly love and enjoy being in. While there are so many ways to add character and warmth to a space through lighting, flooring, color and more, there's not always the time or budget for a full renovation. Here are some simple ways you can make your home cozier, just in time for the holidays.

Declutter
The first thing I would suggest to you would be to declutter! You can't relax in a space that's cluttered and messy. Having a clean home allows your mind to relax which will allow you to relax. Baskets are a great way to stash away toys, shoes or blankets or you can add a piece of furniture with hidden storage like an ottoman with a hinged top.

Candles
Candles make a room cozy and inviting instantly! Group them for a dramatic effect, make a meal more special with some tapers or even just light one in your kitchen.

Pillows
Pillows are a great way to add texture and interest to any room. Add some soft pillows to brighten up a sofa or add a whole pile to your bed. You can never have enough pillows!

Blankets
With colder temperatures you're going to want a cozy blanket to snuggle under on the couch with so why not make it a great one? Think faux fur, sherpa, velvet- anything that's soft and makes you want to snuggle up.
Rugs
No one wants to put bare feet on a cold floor so a rug is the perfect way to add warmth to a room. You can even try layering rugs to add some depth as well as up the coziness factor.
